Our On-line Re-Registration is now open to parents. We have broken down the Re-registration process into two parts. Parents complete Part 1 online through the Re-registration site at https://my.iusd.org. All parents must update contact information, read, authorize and print a variety of documents. Part 2 will be completed at South Lake on Monday, August 22nd from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
Please click here to view detailed instructions for Parts 1 and 2 of the Re-registration process, the Donation and Optional Purchase Form, and to view the re-registration letter that was sent out to families in its entirety.
We start the year off a little differently at South Lake with staggered opening days for new and returning students. The first day of school for all in-coming 7th grade students is Wednesday, August 24th. This is an Orientation Day starting at 8:00 am and ending at 12:15 pm. Students will get to know the campus, school-wide procedures and policies, and meet their teachers.
All new incoming 8th grade students are invited to attend the Orientation Day on August 24th from 10:45 to 12:15 pm. During this time, we will orient new 8th grade students to the campus and engage students in some fun activities to ease the transition of starting a new school. Please have your new 8th grade student arrive at the Administration Office promptly at 10:45 am. As parents new to South Lake, we invite you all to join us in the Multi-Purpose Room at 8:15 am to meet your administration team, receive a brief welcome to our school, and learn about the philosophy of our school community.
The first full day of school for all 7th and 8th grade students will be Thursday, August 25th. All students will report to their Homeroom teacher at 8:00 am. Come out and enjoy our PTSA Kick-off the School Year event that evening at 5:00 pm at South Lake. Pick-Up Stix will be at South Lake!
